Eternal Tears of Sorrow is rising force melodic death metal act from Finland. In 2013 they released a highly acclaimed album, Saivon Lapsi. Their version of Flight of Icarus (album Piece of Mind, Iron Maiden) is melodic death version, done in year 2000. The orchestration gives an epic feel. The singer pulled out powerful dark death metal feel. There were also nice re works of drumming, in double pedal attack. The keyboards solos also very nice. This version found in full album of Eternal Tears of Sorrow, titled Chaotic Beauty.
If you like symphonic death, this is a good cover of Flight of Icarus.
